Political Wire is looking for an intern, or if you prefer, a "part-time editorial assistant." The time commitment should be relatively light, certainly an amount that could accommodate a full-time job or academic schedule. A passion for politics is a must. Living in the New York or Washington, D.C. area is ideal, but not mandatory.
The position will give you the chance to work on a widely-read and influential political website during what promises to be an exciting election season. Previous editorial assistants have parlayed the experience to work on presidential campaigns, U.S. Senate staffs, and various political publications.
